What's coming at Vidders Chat?

We have a variety of different events we hold at the Vidders Chat. If you click on any of our Vidders Chat events in our calendar you can get a description of the event as well as the zoom link to join us! Some events involve creating a vid (which is generally done outside of the chat) or bringing vids to show everyone, but most are just topics to get us talking about certain aspects of vids or vidding.

At a normal chat:

• We start with some small talk as people join the meeting, we might talk about upcoming and past conventions

• Then we talk about our in progress vids and beta them for each other (betas are appreciated whether or not they vid themselves!)

• We have a brief question corner to see if anyone needs some help with their editing software

• Then we have our topic of the week! This could be talking about vids, planning a challenge for any vidder who wants to opt-in, or just watching vids

  • On weeks where we don't have a topic, we usually just end up chatting about whatever fandoms we are into or talking about real life

• After the topic of the week, we might go back to question corner if someone has more questions or we might watch some more in-progress vids. If everyone's satisfied though, we'll probably just go into general chatting about fandom

Although the memes may suggest otherwise, vidders chat does sometimes include talking about vids. People share tips, beta watch, and discuss vidshows. 

However, we often get distracted.

Especially if someone started watching a new show / movie.
